Inside this edition: Wawa incursion, moar trains, land of make believe, butterfly effect, history repair, and a Pennsylvania IQ test.

Editor's note: We'll be back with a full edition next week.

» One thing worth knowing: Wawa plans to double its central Pennsylvania store count in the next three to five years, WGAL reports. That means new outposts in what is currently Sheetz territory.

» One more thing worth knowing: Pennsylvania will spend $200 million to add another daily Amtrak train between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, TribLIVE reports. There is only one daily train now.

» One holiday worth pretending: It's July, and that means National Pennsylvania Day is here again. The made-up holiday marks Pennsylvania's joining of the union. Here's Capital-Star's 2020 holiday guide.

» One bug worth cheering: A rare, iridescent butterfly has been spotted in a Delaware swamp for the first time in 27 years, WHYY reports. Officials won't say exactly where in an effort to protect it.

» One place worth pinning: The birthplace of Black opera in the U.S. is in Pittsburgh, and after decades of decay and disrepair, renovations on the historic house are finally underway, per WESA.
